The ICON Coalition Continues to Grow
The Interfaith Coalition on Nondiscrimination (ICON) recently welcomed three additional congregations as Sustaining Organization Members. They include:
- Temple Israel, Gary
- Unitarian Universalist Church of Indianapolis
- Unitarian Universalist Community Church of Hendricks County, Danville
Twenty-three organizations now make up and guide the work of this unique interfaith coalition in Indiana-the largest of its kind in the mid-west. These organizations represent eleven different faith traditions. Each member organization sends a delegate to an annual membership meeting to review activities, approve the annual budget, set organizational goals, and elect the Board of Directors.
